le Vesuvio launches a themed “Pizza Night” to take your Pizza cravings to further heights. We aimed to introduce an extraordinary pizza tasting experience from the interplay between Classic and Gastronomic. The Pizza Night will be held from 6 pm onwards at the le Vesuvio Rooftop Terrace in Katara Cultural Village. This theme night commences on the 30th November until 17th December 2016.
There is no doubt that Pizza is a worldwide favorite. Above all, it is one of Italy’s favorites amongst its national dishes. Pizza making in Naples, Italy becomes an authentic artisan tradition passed down from one generation to the next. Thus, pizza becomes an icon which symbolizes Italian gastronomy. Aside from its variety of forms – round or rectangular, in a dinner table or grab-to-go, it also comes with the variety of toppings and customized methods of dough preparation to achieve the desired taste and level of digestion.
At le Vesuvio, we take our dough preparation to the highest level of standard. We take great pride in introducing our special 41-year old secret recipe from a family of baking experts to create an exquisite sourdough base. We worked towards achieving the right method to form the perfect sourdough, raised and fermented for 24 hours to obtain the desired softness and consistency. Lastly, it is blasted in the oven to ensure that it gets the right balance between a crispy edge and a soft center. The result is a differently delectable pizza-light, crackling crispy on the outside but chewy moist within.
The Pizza Night will showcase offerings of the regular Classic Pizza with toppings which are prepared the traditional way, whilst the Gastronomic Pizza is specially prepared with pre-baked sourdough garnished with a combination of fresh and pre-cooked toppings. Guests will enjoy a special set menu consisting of an Appetizer salad, Classic and Gastronomic Pizza, a Dessert and a Mocktail of the night.
The distinctive taste of the usual Classic pizza and our bespoke Gastronomic pizza will come as a surprise. Are you now ready to take part in this battle of the bites?
For reservations, please call 4408 1500.
There is no better way to welcome Doha’s cooler weather than enjoying the outdoor breeze with a delectable serving of your favorite dish.
To make the most of the improving weather, le Vesuvio Kiosk was launched to provide authentic Italian fare in a casual and al fresco setting. The kiosk’s grab-to-go concept aims at serving customers who want to enjoy food away from the bustle of sit-down restaurants. For those who prefers to “grab-a-grub” as they wander around Katara, le Vesuvio serves Italian favorites – fresh and fast.
The kiosk may be the small version of le Vesuvio main restaurant, but it remains big in flavour. A feast of pizza and pasta mania, serving piping-hot pizzas and warm-comforting kinds of pasta, the kiosk aimed to provide the best of your Italian favorites.
Located right at the heart of the Katara Esplanade, the kiosk was set with a perfect backdrop of magnificent views of the Arabian Sea.
With such a memorable journey of culinary delights from Italy, “Buon Appetito” is a sure guarantee.
